BeltonFuneral services for J. T. "Jaybo" Jolly, 66, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Dossman Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. Mr. Jolly died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at his home in Belton. Mr. Jolly was born in Coleman, the son of T. J. Jolly and Dorothy Ferguson Jolly. He married Carolyn Pruett, March 5, 1966 in Belton. He worked for himself cutting and selling cedar posts until his health would not let him in longer. In the 1970's he enjoyed volunteering for the Belton Fire Department. He was a member of The Church of God of The First Born in Belton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Virginia Pushinsky and Barbara Newman. Survivors include his wife Carolyn of Belton, two daughters Vickie Walker and husband Nicky and Donnette Brown and husband Gene all of Belton. Four grandsons Jason Walker, Jeremy Brown, Timothy Walker and Cody Brown and two granddaughters Brenda Teakell and Tabitha Walker. Three great grandchildren Jason Walker, Jr., Michael Dale Walker and Brianna Brown. Five brothers Roger Jolly of Bertram, Jr. of Brady, Eugene Jolly of Thrall, Jerry Jolly of Brady and John Jolly of Belton; seven sisters Linda Butler of Belton, Billie Ann Keller of Belton, Helen Pruitt of Belton, Carless Game of Belton, Gladys Maxwell of Brownwood, Caffie Tanner of Gatesville and Patsy Menzel of Thorndale. 25 nieces and 16 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
