Benny Ray Hicks

BeltonFuneral services for Benny Ray Hicks, 53, of Morgans Point Resort, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday October 1, 2011, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Morrow and Rev. Billy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Moffat Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Hicks was born March 22, 1958 at Fort Hood, the son of Wayne and Frances (Patterson) Hicks. He was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church. He was a wholesale salesman, and last held a position with Jack Hilliard Distributing. Mr. Hicks was a member of the American Pool Players Association for over 20 years. He was a member of the Peanuts Gang Team, winning the State Championship this year and competing in the National tournament held in Las Vegas Nevada, this month. Mr. Hicks is survived by his mother, Frances Hicks of Quitman, one brother James Hicks and wife Missy of Quitman; two sisters Dianne Williams of Quitman and Brenda Hight and husband Larry of Morgans Point Resort. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews,
