John Henry Griffith

John Henry Griffith, 71, of Belton, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. Mr. Griffith was born January 17, 1940 in Oklahoma, the son of Edgar and Verna Griffith in Weber Falls, Oklahoma. He has lived in the central Texas area for all his life and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; fuve brothers; and one sister. He is survived by one son, John Wayne Griffith of Evesham, Worcestershire, England; two daughters, Julia Peevy of Morgan's Point Resort, Rebecca Dolson, of Copperas Cove; four sisters, Betty Hall, Margie Walters, Ruby Griffith, and Martha Haney all of Oklahoma; one niece, Nancy Harris also of Oklahoma; 10 grand children; and one great grandchild.
