Donald Lee Siler passed away late Sunday night at his home in Morgan's Point. He was born November 1, 1945 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of J.B. Siler and Eve Langfitt Siler. He married Pauline Holtman Siler on September 12, 1970 in Westphalia, Texas. He was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. He honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he attained the rank of Lance Corporal and received serveral medals, including the Purple Heart. He was a truck driver for McLane Distributing for 17 years, before retiring in 2002. In his free time, Don was an avid bowler in both leagues and tournaments, and achieved three perfect games in his career. He also enjoyed playing golf in the Central Texas area. One of his greatest loves was restoring classic cars and trucks. He is preceded in death by his loving parents. Survivors include his wife Pauline Siler of Morgan's Point Resort; two sons, Richard Siler and wife Kari Siler of Hewitt and Michael Wayne Siler of Beaumont; and one daughter, Dawn Micheal Wilson and husband Marshall Wilson of Belton. He has one brother, Jimmy Siler of Austin. Don is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Ricky Siler, Ryan Siler, Haven Siler, Austin Wilson, Dillon Wilson, and Vince Wilson.
