Gregory H. Wiebelhaus

Belton Graveside services for Greg H. Wiebelhaus, 60, of Galveston, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday at the North Belton Cemetery, with Deacon Armando Aguirre officiating. View will be Monday from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Wiebelhaus died Thursday November 17, 2011 in a Galveston hospital. Mr. Wiebelhaus was born, August 15, 1951 in Crofton, Nebraska, the son of Dr. Hubert A. Wiebelhaus and Donna Jean Gobel Wiebelhaus. He was a 1969 graduate of Temple High School. Mr. Wielbelhaus married Rita Klaes April 27, 1971 in Galveston. He furthered his education graduating from Texas State Technical Institute in 1977 and earning a Bachelors of Science Degree from Tarleton State University in 1982. He loved the beach and motorcycles, other hobbies including guns and knives. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Hubert Wiebelhaus and two brothers Doug Wiebelhaus and Mark Wiebelhaus. Survivors include his mother Donna Wiebelhaus of Temple, one son Gregory West and wife Megan of Temple and two daughters Crystal Gers and husband Rob of Dunn, North Carolina and Canyon Wiebelhaus of Galveston; one brother Mike Wiebelhaus and wife Carolyn of Brayn and one sister Renee Sims and husband Louis of Belton; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Greg was a loving son and will be missed.
