Gwen Dalton

Funeral services for Gwen Dalton, 51 of Salado will be held at 10:00 AM Monday November 28, 2011 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Burial will follow at the Salado Cemetery. Mrs. Dalton, affectingly known as Gweny, went home to be with her heavenly father Sunday November 20th. She was born June 23rd 1960 in Brawley California, the daughter of Bill and Jane Upton. Gwen graduated from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. Gwen taught piano with Mary Morgan in Hurst area for 10 years. She spent the last 23 years working and being a part of the community in Salado. She managed Sir Wigglesworth 1988- 2003 from 2005-2008 she went to work for Dianna Beadnell at Horsefeathers. In 2007 she went on to Brazos Collection working for Tamara and Eddie Liner in Salado. Gwen was an active member at Temple Bible Church for the last 9 years. Anyone who worked with her quickly became a close friend. She was a friend and confidant to many people in her community. She is survived by her father Bill Upton; two sisters Robin Upton and Kathy Upton; Husband Britt Dalton; two Children daughter Chantal Villanueva and son Jesse Dalton; two Grandchildren Grace and Ethan Villanueva Funeral arrangements will be held at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Memorials may be made to the Gwen Dalton Memorial Fund at First State Bank in Salado Tx
