Graveside services for Thelma I. Wohleb, age 91, of Belton will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Reeds Lake Cemetery with Bobby Johnson officiating. Mrs. Wohleb died Sunday in a Belton nursing home. She was born October 16, 1920 in Cameron, Texas to Ralph Greer and Mary Walston (Thweatt) Vaughan. She grew up in Cameron where she attended school. She married George Wohleb on December 9, 1966 in Georgetown, Texas. She and her husband developed the River Forest addition in Belton and built and operated River Forest Hotel and Restaurant. She was active in the Belton Senior Center and a member of Bell County Sportsman's Club and Business and Professional Women's Association. She was a Baptist. Survivors include nephews, Lynn Storey of Doyline, LA, Dennis Storey of Blanchard, LA, Mike Storey of Shreveport, LA, Roy Storey of Biloxi, MS, and Bob Vaughan of Lunenburg, MA; nieces, Lynda Wood of Shreveport, LA, Alisa Gahagan of Bossier City, LA and Carol Sasadu of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 PM Tuesday at Dossman Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Belton Senior Center.
