Grandville Weldon Bradford, Jr.

Belton - Funeral services for Grandville "Uncle Bucky" Bradford Jr., 66, of Temple, will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 9, 2011, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Joe Baisden officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mr. Bradford passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 in Temple. He was born November 10, 1945 in Temple, Texas, the son of Grandville Weldon Sr. and Meta Pauline Bradford. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps and has lived in Temple his whole life. Grandville dedicated his life to raising his kids, who he constantly supported through many of their activities such as sports. Everyone always looked to "Uncle Bucky" for help when needed. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pete and William Bradford; and three sisters, Polly Nelson, Debbie and Judy Mae Bradford. Survivors include one son, Bradley Kyle Bradford and wife Rebecca of Troy; two daughters, Angela Marie Bradford of Moffat, Ashley May Vaughan and husband Trenton of Temple; one brother, James Bruce Bradford of Rogers; one sister Mary Jane Crow of Temple; and eight grandchildren. The family would like to express their heart felt thanks to the Medical ICU Team and the staff at the Continuing Care Hospital who took such excellent care of our Dad.
