Vera Faye Bruton

BeltonFuneral services for Vera Faye Bruton, 69, of Belton, will be held at 10 AM Friday Dec., 30, 2011, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Arthur Washburn officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery. The Family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Bruton died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her home in Belton. She was born December 12, 1942 in Belton the daughter of Jesse and Jewel Weaks. She married Calvin Stonewall Bruton, July 22, 1962 in Belton. Vera was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ and was very talented when it came to gardening, sewing and baking. She was preceded in death by her father and husband. Survivors include her mother Jewel Isaacks of Belton; two daughters, Brenda Smith and husband Mark of Moffat, Geraldine Brock and husband Robert of Denison; three brothers, Harold Weaks of Moffat, Rick Shelton of Belton, Paul Isaacks of Gatesville; two sisters, Vernell Childress and Sharon Ford, both of Belton; and three grandchildren, Garrett Smith, Eric and Rachel Brock.
