Lois Lorraine Mcdonald

Belton Lois Lorraine McDonald, 87, died at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Temple, Texas on December 30, 2011. She was born on October 12, 1924 to Lee and Bud Mitchell in Billings, Montana. She married Bill McDonald in 1946. Lois is preceded in death by her husband in 1979 and her grandchildren Christy and Geoff Hart and great-granddaughter, Rebekah in 2008. Lois resided in Hobbs, NM between 1957 and 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hobbs. Lois enjoyed various activities such as bridge, oil painting, golf, tennis, swimming and attending the senior citizens dances. In Temple she was a member of the FBC, Newcomers and was an active bridge player. She is survived by her children Bill and Kathy McDonald of Youngsville, Louisiana; Susan and Mike Risinger of Morgan's Point Resort, Texas; Terri and Patrick Lindquist of Meadows Place, Texas; grandchildren Lynn and Bart Hains and two great-grandsons Garrett and Zachary of Gonzales, Louisiana. Funeral arrangements in Hobbs, NM are pending.
