Belton- Funeral services for Joy B. Renick, age 81 of Belton, will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Bro. Mike Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Renick died late Friday night, January 6, 2012 in Temple. She was born March 2, 1930 in San Angelo, the daughter of Stewart and Julia Burks Carpenter. She married her husband, Roy Renick, November 23, 1955 in Austin. Joy moved to Belton with her husband in 1955 from Austin. She was a member and very active in volunteering with Miller Heights Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Marvin and Henry Carpenter. Survivors include one sister; Betty Harlan of Belton; and seven nieces. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Miller Heights Baptist Church, P.O.
