Elizabeth Irene Bushee

Services for Elizabeth Irene Bushee, age 84, of Belton will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Livingston officiating. Burial will be later in the Salado Cemetery. She died Monday, January 9, 2011 at her home near Stillhouse Lake. She was born February 6, 1927 in Creek County, Oklahoma to Walter B. and Virgie (Cranfield) Sorrels. She married George Bushee on January 27, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas. She moved from Houston to Belton 23 plus years ago. She was a registered nurse and worked for Kings Daughters Hospital from 1989 to 1999. Survivors include her husband, George Bushee of Belton, 2 sons, Dale Bushee of Houston and John Bushee of Dallas, 1 daughter, Lynn Bushee of Phoenix, 1 grandson, Jerry Carvy of Dallas, 2 great grandchildren, Maya Carvy and Georgia Carvy both of Dallas. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
