BeltonFuneral mass for Bernadine Torline, 77, will be held at 10 AM Saturday Feb., 11, 2012, at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Temple with Father James Ekeocha officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-7 PM at the funeral home, with a rosary following from 7-8 PM. Mrs. Torline died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 at a nursing home in Belton. She was born October 16, 1934 in Offerle, Kansas the daughter of John G. and Alvina (Galyardt) Stegman. She married Dennis Torline, 1952 in Offerle. Bernadine was a member of the St. Luke's Catholic Church and was the owner and manager of Bernie's Brown Bag in Belton. She was preceded in death by her loving parents and husband. Survivors include four daughters, Debbie Fulton of Temple, Cheryl Crawford of Waco, Teresa Widmann of Temple, Jessica Truelove of Belton; one brother, Ronald Stegman of Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Amanda Moreno, Angela Shierk, Amber Morgan, Nicole Voss, Melissa Widmann, Kayla Truelove, Kaleb Truelove, Alisha Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Moreno, Michael Moreno, Grace Ann Morgan, and Hannah Voss. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to St. Lukes Catholic Church, 2807 Oakdale Temple, TX 76502.
