Erna Lee Matthews

Belton--- Funeral services for Erna Lee Matthews, 90, of Belton, will be held at 2 PM Saturday February 11, 2012 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Matthews died Thursday, February 9, 2012 in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Matthews was born May 9, 1921 in Bell County, the daughter of Henry and Martha Ann (Huber) Wilcoxson. She married Carroll Lee "Chesty" Matthews June 15, 1938 in Temple. She was a member of the Nolanville Church of Christ since 1946. She was also a long time member of T. O. P. S. #751 in Temple. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters Charlotte Stroud and husband David of Belton and Carolyne Cabaniss of Belton; foster daughter Betty Dulaney of Eddy; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday from 5-7 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Cherokee Children's Home P. O. Box 295 Cherokee Texas 76832
