Belton--- Funeral services for Evelyn C. Reeser, 92, of Temple, will be held at 10 AM Monday at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Reeser officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Concord, Texas. Mrs. Reeser died Friday evening, February 17, 2012 at her home in Temple. Mrs. Reeser was born March 12, 1919 in Bridgetown, the daughter of Chester Clayton Craft and John Belle (Norris) Craft. She married Wayne Reeser, MD. They made their home in New Mexico and South Carolina before moving to Temple. Mrs. Reeser was a homemaker and a registered nurse. She served in leadership roles in clubs including Woman's Study Club, Order of the Eastern Star, The Bell County Medical Auxiliary; and Gavel Club. She taught Sunday School for many years at First Baptist Church in Temple. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Reeser, M.D. her parents and a brother John Dodson Craft. Survivors include one son Rev. John Carl Reeser of Sautee, Georgia and one daughter Dr. Anabel Reeser of Temple. Two granddaughters; Lisa and Lindsay and five great grandchildren. The Family will receive friends for visitation at 9:00 AM Monday at the Dossman Funeral Home.
