Belton--- Graveside services for Bobby L. Wallace, 83, of Belton, will be held at 10 AM Saturday at North Belton Cemetery under the direction of Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Bro. John Witte and Bro. Andy Davis officiating. A visitation will be held Friday evening at Dossman Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM in Belton. Mr. Wallace died early Thursday morning, February 23, 2012 at his home in Belton. Bobby was born March 23, 1928 in Lea County, New Mexico, the son of Arthur and Edna Miller Wallace. He married his loving wife, Carol (Teeter) Wallace on August 8, 1981 in Wichita Falls, Texas. On April 22, 1946, he volunteered to honorably serve his country in the United States Army during World War II. Bobby and Carol moved to Belton in 1992 from Roswell, New Mexico. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Bettye Wallace. Survivors include two sons, Burch Wallace of Paradise, Marty Wallar of Belton; two daughters, Barbara Pickett of Belton, Susan Hutchinson of Arlington; one brother, Jack Wallace of San Antonio; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Helping Hands Ministry of Belton, 2210 Holland Rd. Belton, Texas 76513.
