Josie Doral Patrick

Private graveside services for Mrs. Josie Doral Patrick, age 99, of Temple will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Liberty, Texas with Dr. Ralph Thompson officiating. Mrs. Patrick died Sunday in a Temple nursing facility. Josie was born September 12, 1912 in Spring, Texas to Joseph Franklin and Martha Eleanor (Cotton) Wilkey. She grew up in Southeast Texas and graduated from Daisetta High School. She married Robert D. Patrick Jr. on December 25 and they were married over 72 years prior to his death in 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert D. Patrick, III in 2003. Survivors include a daughter, Doral Jean Patrick Holdren of Marble Falls, a daughter-in-law, Linda Patrick of Temple, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
