George F. Bushee

Belton Memorial service for George F. Bushee, 83 of Belton, will be held at 10 AM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Bob Livingston officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation 9-10 AM Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Bushee died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in a Temple Hospital. Mr. Bushee was born September 27, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of George F. Bushee, Sr and Margaret Ludlow Bushee. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He married Elizabeth Irene Sorrels January 27, 1950 in Ft. Worth. They made their home in Houston for many years before moving to Central Texas over 23 years ago. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and the Shriners. Mr. Bushee was preceded by his wife January 9, 2012 and one son, Wayne Bushee February, 7, 2008. Survivors include two sons Dale Bushee of Houston and John Bushee of Mansfield. One daughter Lynn Bushee of Phoenix and one sister Faye Stine of Missouri. One gradson Jerry Cravy and two great grandchildren Maya Cravy and Georgia Cravy.
