Karen L. Jones

Memorial services for Karen L. Jones, 72, of Belton will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Foundation Methodist Church with Rev Darren Walker officiating. Mrs. Jones died Thursday June 14, 2012 at her home in Belton surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jones was born September 14, 1939, in Iowa, the daughter of Donald Allbee and Margaret Hiserote Allbee. She married Larry Jones August 21, 1960, in Mason City, Iowa. The couple moved to Belton in 1984 to start their own company, Quality Builders. Mrs. Jones was a Christian. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband Larry Jones of Belton, son Bill D. Jones of Belton and daughters Kim Chaney, Lori Bruns and Kathy Billick all of Belton; brothers Roger Allbee of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Robert Allbee of Eldora, Iowa and sister Donna Havens of Iowa Falls. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
