Anthony (Tony) Glade Clampet

Belton--- Funeral services for Anthony (Tony) Glade Clampet, 69, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Belton Church of Christ with Minister Joe Baisden officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Clampet died Wednesday June 27, 2012 at a Temple Hospital. Mr. Clampet was born October 26, 1942 in Haworth, Oklahoma, the son of Lawrence and Isabel (McClure) Clampet. He married Barbara Green September 4, 1965 in Redland, Oklahoma. He was a 9 year veteran of the U. S. Army. They made their home in Belton in 1972. Mr. Clampet was a graduate of the FAA Academy in Oklahoma. He worked for many years as an electronic technician with civil service at Ft. Hood. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ, serving as a deacon for a few years. Survivors include his wife Barbara Clampet of Belton; mother Isabel Clampet of Haworth, Oklahoma; one son Brian Clampet and wife Melody of Academy; two daughters Stacy Clampet Roberts and husband Mike of Bentonville, Arkansas and Stephanie Scott and husband Wes of Plano. Two brothers Steve Clampet and Jerry Paul Clampet both of Haworth, Oklahoma and two sisters Sandra Holt of Haworth, Oklahoma and Cheryl Hopkins of Idabel, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Shelby, Bailey, McKenlee, Ransom, Fielder and Blakely.
