Klara Lundgren

Belton--- Funeral services for Klara Lundgren, age 91, of Belton, will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, July 28, 2012, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church under the direction of Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Robert Bliss officiating. Klara died July 25, 2012 in a Temple Hospital. She was born, October 31, 1920 in Budapest, Hungary the daughter of Martin and Klara Csirmaz. She moved to Central Texas in 1950 from Austria, after surviving the Holocaust during WWII and marrying her late husband, Claude E. Lundgren who passed away in 1998. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Belton. Klara was also a member of the Episcopal Church Women, St. Agnes Guild at the Christ Church in Temple, was very active in the Jefferson Elementary School PTA, and was a Biker Broad of Bell County. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Claude Martin Lundgren; and one brother, George Csirmaz. Survivors include one daughter, Eloise Lundgren of Belton. Serving as pallbearers will be; Louis Flores, Jesse Ybarbo, Jay Taggart, Michael Taggart, Danny Cummins, Shawn Contino, Terry James-Stewart, and Ray Gibson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Temple Cultural Activities Center, 3011 N 3rd St., Temple, Texas 76501, or to the charity of your choice.
