Willis "Bill" Boyd

Willis H. (Bill) Boyd, 68, of Holland, died on Thursday, August 16, 2012, in Temple, Texas. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton Ron Harmon, Ray Cullum and Nick Linville officiating. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery. He was born February 7, 1944 in Temple, Texas to Willis A. Boyd and Myrtle Holley Boyd. He married Linda Holliday on April 21, 1972 in Georgetown, Texas. They lived in Williamson County until 1986 when they moved to Holland, Texas to be closer to his parents. He had a family owned and operated business, B&H Screen Printing, and a small goat ranch, also a family adventure. The loves of his life were his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his Heavenly Father, his country, his friends and meeting new friends. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dale Boyd and his sister, Glenda Wall. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda, sons Robert and wife Shannon Boyd of Cedar Park, Joe and wife Tyler Boyd of Holland and daughter Holley and husband Ricky Hatter of Temple, grandchildren Elizabeth Boyd of Georgetown, Varion Boyd and Ian Boyd of Cedar Park, Katey Hatter and Jordan Hatter of Temple, Boston Boyd, Berklee Boyd and Bristol Boyd of Holland and Van Craton and Elissa Craton of Cedar Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Temple Animal Shelter, 620 Mama Dog Circle, Temple, TX 76501 or the Holland Volunteer Fire Department, 104 West Travis Street, Holland, TX 76534.
