Donald Paul Smith

Funeral services for Donald Paul Smith, 47, of Belton will held at 11:30 Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Kiblinger and Rev. John Roark officiating. Burial will follow at the Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died Monday October, 1, 2012 at an Austin hospital. Mr. Smith was born May 23, 1965 in Belton, the son of Donald Clifton Smith and Patricia (Johnson) Smith. He was a 1983 graduate of Belton High School. He married Montie Milligan, December 28, 1996 in Belton. He worked as a computer programmer for McLane Company and Scott and White Hospital. He was a member of Keys Valley Baptist Church before joining Foundation United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Montie Smith of Belton; mother Patricia Gunter of Belton, son Dale Childs and wife Laura of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and daughter Mary Karele Smith of Belton. Memorials maybe made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Williams Syndrome Association, the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
