Funeral services for Nelda Blair, 78 of Temple, formerly of Belton will be held at 3 PM Saturday, October 28, 2012, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Joe Baisden and Minister Kevin Dutton officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6 - 8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Blair died Tuesday, October 24, 2012 at her home in Temple. Mrs. Blair was born May 18, 1934 in Brady, the daughter of Rice Watters Willey and Lucille (Strickland) Willey. She married James "Shorty" Blair December 22, 1955 in Lubbock. The couple traveled the world while Mr. Blair was in the military and retired to Belton from Ft. Hood in 1973. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Blair was a homemaker in everyway. She was preceded in death by her husband November 15, 1998. Survivors include two sons Jimmy Blair of Texarkana and B.K. Blair of Belton; three daughters Sheryl Lingo of Belton, Sylvia Costine of Temple and Shauna Griffin of Belton; three brothers Glenn Willey of Gun Barrel City, Jeff Willey of Littlefield and R. C. Willey of Blanket; four sisters Karen Dutton Campbell of Euless, Carmen Melton of Bedford, Wanda Lancaster of Ft. Worth and Kittie Khoulack of Bonita, Arizona. 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
