Belton--- Funeral Mass for Clara Mares, 92, of Belton will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 13, 2012, under the direction of Dossman Funeral Home at Christ The King Catholic Church in Belton with Father James Misko and Monsignor Oliver Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held 6 to 7PM with a Rosary following from 7-8PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Mares died Thursday, November 8, 2012 in a Belton Nursing Home. She was born January 17, 1920 the daughter of Nick J. Klaus and Elizabeth (Rens) Klaus. She married her husband Frank Dusek Mares September 29, 1945 in Temple. She worked as a nurse and was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church where she was often involved with the Women's Ministry in Belton. She moved here in 1960 after being stationed with her husband in North Carolina. Clara is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include her husband Frank Dusek Mares of Belton; daughter Catherine Rabroker and husband Charles of Belton; three grandchildren, Sarah Rabroker, Timothy Rabroker and husband Amelia, Nicholas Rabroker and wife Lori; and six great grandchildren, Morgan Winkler, Conner Vela, Clayton, Cecelia, Andrew, and Charles David Rabroker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ The King Catholic Church, 210 East 24th, Belton, TX 76513.
