Glenda Jo Henderson

Funeral services for Glenda Jo Henderson will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday December 8, 2012 at Meadow Oaks Baptist Church in Temple with Rev. Lillian Hinds officiating. Burial will be at the North Belton Cemetery prior to the service. Mrs. Henderson died Saturday, December 1, 2012, at a Temple nursing home. Mrs. Henderson was born October 25, 1927, in Belton, the daughter of Elma Lee Wilson and Virginia (Birdwell) Wilson. She married William O. Henderson in 1945 in Belton. She retired from Scott & White Hospital and later retired again from Temple I. S. D. She was a long time member of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church. She is survived my one son Bill Henderson of Temple and three daughters Fay Toon of Longview, Kay Hart of Lewisville and Sherry Rowan of Lubbock. 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lighthouse Hospice or the charity of your choice.
