Marie Moore

BeltonFuneral services for Marie Moore, 71, of Belton will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Dossman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Margaret Petty and Rev. Roger Petty officaiting. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore was born January 18, 1941, in Temple, the daughter of Andy and Edith (Starling) Mayes. She was long time resident of Bell County but lived for a few years in Southern California. She married V. V. Moore, Jr. in Troy in 1978. She was a member of the American Pool Players Association. Mrs. Moore was also a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Belton. Survivors include her husband V. V. Moore, Jr. of Belton; mother Edith Mayes of Belton, Sons Kenneth F. Fisher of Belton, Bobby Moore of Belton and Ricky Moore of Lemesa; one brother Rickard Townzen of Belton. 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
