Juanita R. (Lowry) Soto

Funeral services for Juanita R. Soto, 57, of Rogers, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Soto died Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home in Rogers. Mrs. Soto was born July 22, 1955 in Waco, the daughter of Lonnie and Juanita Roseanne (Purvis) Lowry. She married Santos Soto, Jr. June 29, 1974 in Riesel. She was a baker for many years. She also enjoyed being a nanny to several families in the area. Most of all she loved being a homemaker, a wife, mother and grandmother. She lived in Rogers for the last 28 years. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rogers. Mrs. Soto was preceded in death by her mother in 1999. She is survived by her father Lonnie Lowry of Riesel, husband Santos Soto, Jr of Rogers, son Santos Soto III of Burlington and daughter Karmen Branham of Temple, six brothers Lloyd Lowry, Lonnie Lowry, Aaron Lowry, Mark Lowry, Chris Lowry and Andy Lowry, two sisters Vickie Dunn and Cindy Cantrell, three grandchildren, Nick Branham, Aidan Branham and Emma Soto.
