Our mom, Mrs. Manuela "Mamie" Alcozer, passed on January 22, 2013, in Belton. She is now with our Heavenly Father and in our hearts forever. Mom, your legacy lives on and your family will cherish your memory. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, January 25, 2013 at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father James Misko officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Thursday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Alcozer died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in a Belton nursing home. Mrs. Alcozer was born May 31, 1941 in San Antonio, the daughter of Frank and Manuela (Castillo) Anchando. She married Damasio Alcozer May 12, 1958 in Clovis New Mexico. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Alcozer was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dominga Alvarado and brother Frank Anchando, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Damasio Alcozer of Belton, two sons Gilbert Alcozer, Sr. and his wife Angie of Temple and Victor Alcozer and his wife Nancy of Belton; a daughter Margaret Alcozer Rendon and her husband Rudolph of Austin. Three brothers Paul Anchando of Temple, Henry Anchando of Temple and Jesse Anchando of Rogers; five sisters Janie Barron of Alvin, Frances DeLaRosa of Sebastian, Mary Anchando of Killeen, Paulina Anchando of Dallas and April Anchando of Bell County; 12 grandchildren Kris Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Kimberly Hernandez, Gilbert Alcozer, Jr., Mark Alcozer, Ashley Alcozer, Tyler Alcozer, Aaron Alcozer, Michael Alcozer, Victoria Alcozer, Frankie Alcozer and Jessie Kneese and four great grandchildren Lori Grace, Hannah Faith, Michaela and Aiden.
