Hazel Elizabeth Arndell

Funeral services for Hazel E. Arndell, 90, of Belton will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Dailey, Rev. Tunis Schuurman and Robert Dailey officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Arndell died Friday, February 8, 2013 at her residence in Nolanville. Mrs. Arndell was born December 21, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of John H. Larson and Rosalee (McCart) Larson. She moved to Central Texas in 1964. Mrs. Arndell worked for many years with Civil Service and retired from Ft. Hood in 1978. She married Alvin Arndell October 14, 1972 in Georgetown. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Belton Golden Agers Club. She was a member of Christ Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987 and one sister, Mary Weaver. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law Mike Dailey and wife Ginger of Belton and Robert Dailey and wife Beth of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three daughters and sons-in-law Jean Schuurman and husband Tunis of Nolanville, Dona Young and husband Robert of Rochester, Minnesota and Becky Ray and husband Randy of Salado; one sister Julia Dailey of Belton; 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
