Philip J. Grouss

Belton--- Memorial services for Philip J. Grouss, 62, of Moody, will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Dossman Funeral Home with Howard Martin officiating. Mr. Grouss died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at his home in Moody. Philip was born August 26, 1950 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the son of Philip and Marie (Beirne) Grouss. He married his wife, Cynthia J. Grouss, August 22, 1998 in Moody. He worked in Human Resources for Strasburger Enterprises. He lived in Temple since 1980 then moved to Moody in 1996 and had a Bachelor's in English Education. He was also a member of the Little River Catfish Association. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Thomas Grouss; and one sister, Patricia Ramand. Survivors included his wife, Cynthia Grouss of Moody; five sons, Carlos Romo and wife Jessica of Frisco, PJ Grouss and wife Cindy of North Carolina, Robert Romo and wife Mandi of Dallas, Patrick Grouss and wife Mary of Florida, Timmy Grouss of Moody; one daughter, Renee Bustilloz and husband Brian of Belton; and twelve grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
