BeltonFuneral services for Janet Hall, 66, of Belton will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Church of Christ in Belton with Joe Baisden, Jordan Hubbard and John York officiating under the direction of Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Janet died Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Temple. She was born July 13, 1946 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Wayne W. Stell and Rachel Olna Powell Stell. She and Larry Hall were married on August 23, 1968 in Albuquerque and they have lived in Belton since 1990 after moving from Roseburg, Oregon. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Belton and loved singing, bird watching and reading. She also enjoyed teaching adult and children's Bible classes and conducting seminars and workshops. But her favorite professions were being the "minister to the minister" (Larry), and being Mom to David and Beth. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wayne W. Stell, Jr. and one sister, Phyllis Moseley. Survivors include her husband, Larry Hall; one son, David Michael Hall of Denver, Colorado; a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Rachel Phillips of Cambridge, England; two sisters, Zoe Nelson and Lisa Bishop; and one grandchild, Flannery Mary Catherine Phillips.
