Belton--- Funeral services for Vicki L. Smith, 68, of Belton, will be held at 10 AM, Monday, April 29, 2013, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith died Wednesday evening in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born April 2, 1945 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the daughter of Daniel Kobel Claybaugh and Betty Jane (Gavigan) Claybaugh. She moved to Belton in 1970. She married Frank L. Smith, November 16, 1979 in Fredericksburg. Together Mr. and Mrs. Smith owned and operated Franks Lakeview Inn for more than 21 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Anchor of Hope Church in Belton. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Smith, July 10, 2000 and two grandsons, Doug Dittmer, Jr. and Seth Dittmer. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Maria Dittmer of Troy, John and Ashton Dittmer of Bryan, and Doug and Sonya Dittmer of Belton. Nine grandchildren; Stacie Murphy, Trista Long, Alicia Van Cleave, D R Long, Adam Dittmer, Taryn Dittmer, Jori Dittmer, R. J. Guerra, Addison Drollinger-Dittmer and four great grandchildren. Dear friend of 43 years Connie Lenear and close friend Willa Meyer. Memorials may be made to the Anchor of Hope Building Fund 5700 FM 439 Belton, Texas 76513.
