Janice B. Hite

Funeral services for Janice B. Hite, 92, of Killeen, will be held at 11:00 Am Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Jackson and Rev Jack Husung officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Valley Cemetery near Salado. The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Hite died Wednesday, June 5 2013 in a Temple nursing home. Mrs. Hite was born November 29, 1920 in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of Frank Joseph Brown and Phoebe Ellen (Hillman) Brown. She worked for many years with civil service. She moved to Texas from Ohio in 1991. She was a member in the Friendship Club that meets in Killeen. She was a long time, faithful member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughter Julia McWhirt of Killeen and Mary Ellen Motley of Ohio; one sister Dorothy Mae Manning of California; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren.
