Belton---Funeral services for Robbie Drake, 56 of Rogers, will be held 10:00 AM Monday, June 24, 2013 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Will Passmore officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery. Robbie passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Temple. He was born October 14, 1956 in Belton, the son of Charlie Wilson Drake and Selma (Lansford) Drake. He has lived in Central Texas all of his life. Robbie worked for Tex Blast for 24 and a half years before opening his own sandblasting business in 2005 in Rogers. Robbie had a love for camping, fishing, and just sitting on his front porch or working in his shop. He had a love for his children that was undeniable. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Earnest Drake and Nera Drake; one sister, Evelyn Syme. Survivors included his wife, Jennifer Drake of Rogers; four sons, Keith Drake of Salado, Kevin Drake of Belton, Karl Drake of Rogers, Kenton Drake of Rogers; one daughter, McKaylen Drake of Rogers; two brothers, Billy Joe Drake of Belton, Mackie Drake of Sheriden; five sisters, Lois Schroder, of Belton, Callie Brown of Belton, Carol Hobbs of Sheriden, Charlise Smith and Kathy Devillier of Vidor; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
