Jean Tharp

Belton--- Funeral services for Jean Tharp, 77, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Warren King officiating. Burial will follow at the Rogers Cemetery. Mrs. Tharp died Wednesday, June 26, in a Belton Nursing Home. Mrs. Tharp was born September 27, 1935 in Latham, Tennessee, the daughter of J. W. and Delma (Tucker) Foster. She married Thomas Tharp in 1954 in Dresden, Tennessee. She worked at Scott and White Hospital for more than 44 years. She was a member of the Leon Valley Church of Christ. Survivors include her son Colin Tharp and wife Tracy of Temple; brother David Foster and wife Mildred of Belton; sister Reba Dunlap and husband Bobby of Dresden, Tennessee; two grandsons Mark Bell and Joshua Bell; two great grandchildren Makaylie and Sean. Memorials may be made to the Scott and White Children's Hospital in Temple.
