Dennis Veazey

Dennis Ples Veazey died at age 65 from heart failure at Seton Hospital in Austin. He was born July 30, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to Elbert and Mamie Veazey. He married Virginia Hart in Lubbock, April 3, 1965. Dennis faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Retiring to Salado in 1997 where he spent his time bowling, fishing and working in his garden. Dennis is survived by his wife Virginia of Salado, son Cory and daughter-in-law Katherine and three granddaughters Cindy, Kaylee and Caralyn all of Blackduck, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Mamie and all his siblings Damon, Patsy and Joann. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton followed by Interment at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.
