Cherie Jan Bannister

Belton--- Funeral services for Cherie Jan Bannister, 56, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Bannister was born August 1, 1956 in Marlin, the daughter of Grady and Yvonne Tindle. She married Johnny Bannister, December 28, 1982 in Rockwall. She was a homemaker and a foster parent. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Killeen. Mrs. Bannister was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter, Avery Williams. Survivors include her husband Johnny W. Bannister of Belton; mother Yvonne Tindle of Belton; two sons Brandon Bannister of Chandler and Scott Ray Bannister of Belton; five daughters Valerie Ann Williams of Belton, Vicki Jo Morris of Belton, Carri Ann Sparks of Rowlett; Ashley Nicole Bannister of Temple and Brianna Marie Bannister of Belton; one brother Michael Tindle of Temple and two sisters Anna Mathisen of Freeport and Candice Campbell of Washington 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
