Nancy Thompson

Funeral Services for Nancy P. Thompson, 70 of Copperas Cove, will be held at 10 AM Thursday July 25, 2013 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Rev. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Kempner Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Thompson died Monday, July 22, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Thompson was born, February 13, 1943 in Wichita Falls, the daughter of Lafayette Webb Melton and Novella (Christopher) Melton. She married Bill Winston Thompson, October 6, 1961 in Warner Robbins, Georgia. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill W. Thompson, April 7, 2007, her mother, father, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include three sons James Cleveland Bragg of Copperas Cove, Billy Jay Thompson and wife Joyce of Copperas Cove and Danny Ray Thompson of Killeen; two daughters Laura Kay Teal and husband Karl of Kingsland and Lisa Gayle Richard and husband Michael of Copperas Cove; two sisters Joann Bender of Kingsland and Donna Kay Cotter of Henderson, Arkansas; ten grandchildren;Tiffany, Ashley, Justin, Nanci, Christopher, Richard, Cory, Cole, Brandyn, Colton & Harlee and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews and beloved friends and many more that loved her as Mom and Mamaw.
