Robert Lynn Honeycutt

Belton/TempleRobert Honeycutt, 76 of Temple, passed away, Monday, August 26, 2013, at his home in Temple. Memorial service will be 10:30am, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Belton Church of Christ in Belton, Texas. He was born September 13, 1936 in Temple, the son of Robert Lee Honeycutt and Marcella (Davis) Honeycutt. He married his wife, Dessie Lee (Hayes) Honeycutt October 25th, in 1957. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ and loved his family, his church, wood working and clock making. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Bryan Lynn Honeycutt. He is survived by his wife, Dessie Lee Honeycutt of Temple; one son, Lane Honeycutt and his wife Ngoc Tran of Houston; two daughters, Kim Richards of Temple and Lisa Patrick of New York; one brother, Joel Honeycutt of Johnson City, Texas; one sister, Linda Kay Warren of Overton, TX; and six grandchildren, Sandy Jones, Clint Richards, Chris Patrick, Cole Richards, Will Richards, Katlyn Richards and four great grandsons. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Belton Church of Christ or Love of Christ Food Pantry of Temple TX. Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements. The body was cremated.
