Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements Charles passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Temple. He was born December 19, 1945 in Capitan, New Mexico the son of John Chester Brown and Agnes (Gartrell) Brown. He moved to Temple 3 years ago from Midland and enjoyed many outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. He loved carpentry and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Brown. Survivors include one daughter, Angela Brown Allen and husband Richard of Nevada; six brothers, J.C., Henry, Roger, Tony, Bobby, and Johnny Brown; one sister, Betty Walters; three grandchildren, Cody Allen, Cassie Allen, Ashlee Allen; and two great grandchildren, Kalea Reyes and Jayden Allen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Faith Baptist Church, 1102 S. 51st Street, Temple, Texas 76504.
