Jerry Locklin

BeltonMemorial services for Jerry Lynn Locklin, 58, of Salado, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Belton Church of Christ with Mickey Blanks officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Mr. Locklin died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at his home in Salado. Mr. Locklin was born February 6, 1955 in Rockdale, the son of L. W. and Erma (Cryer) Locklin. The family moved to Belton in 1959. He was a graduate of Belton High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Locklin was a sales executive for PuroClean. He was a long-time member of the Belton Church of Christ from 1959-present. On September 3, 2004 he married Donna White in Salado. He was preceded in death by his father, L. W. Locklin, two brothers Lloyd Locklin and Ronnie Locklin, and three grandchildren. Survivors include his mother Erma Locklin of Belton, wife Donna Locklin of Salado, son and daughter-in-law Quinton and Jennifer Locklin of Cypress; daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Chris Moore of Belton; four step daughters and their husbands, Mandi and Cary Dupuy of Waco, Staci and Noel Collins of Dallas, Traci and Ryan Freling of Dallas and Amy and Robert White of Bryan; one brother James Locklin of Belton and two sisters Marsha Swenson and husband Dan of Georgetown and Ann Locklin of Belton; 16 grandchildren.
