Neil Pearcy

Belton--- Graveside services for Neil Pearcy, 80, of Morgan's Point Resort, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Fairy Cemetery in Fairy. The family will receive friends for visitation 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Pearcy died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at his home. Mr. Pearcy was born June 22, 1933, in Gorman, the son of Hollis Odie Pearcy and Verne Ola (Cornwell) Pearcy. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Pearcy was an independent contractor in construction for many years. He was a member of the V. F. W. Post 1820. He married Barbara Egan LaDue, December 29, 1987 in Belton. Mr. Pearcy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Rodgers Pearcy. Survivors include his wife Barbara Pearcy of Morgan's Point Resort, son Quinc Pearcy and wife Leslie of Gatesville, two brothers Jan Pearcy and wife Charlotte of Fairy and Derrell Pearcy and wife Kack of Oklahoma and one sister-in-law Pat Pearcy of Florida; two grandchildren Cuyler and Anna; several nieces and nephews and special friend Johnny Cunningham of Springfield, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Morgan's Point Resort Police Department or Volunteer Fire Department.
