Belton--- Funeral services for Mary J. Barnes, 78 of Temple will be held 10:00AM Friday, November 8, 2013, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Andy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Dossman Funeral Home. Mary Barnes passed away Monday, November 4, 2013, at her home in Temple. Born June 27, 1935, in Rosebud, Texas to Onnon Brealer Lloyd and Eddie Mae (Fikes) Lloyd, Mary married her husband, William Emmett Barnes, Jr. on August 1, 1954, in Ballinger, Texas. William Emmett Barnes, Jr. was born on August 26, 1931, in Junction, Texas. Mary lived in Temple for 45 years after moving from Ballinger, Texas and was a member of Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Temple. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillery and loved any type of needlework such as sewing, knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Barnes also loved to cook, spend time outdoors, and attend her grandchildren's events. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Emmett Barnes, Jr. Survivors include four sons, William Lee Barnes, Eddie Allan Barnes and wife Vincenta, Johnny Onnon Barnes and wife Donna, Monty Emmett Barnes and wife Michelle; two daughters, Billie June Reagan and husband Bobby, Mary Lucelle Warner and husband Todd; two brothers, William Lloyd and wife Wanda, Roy Lloyd and wife Mary; fifteen grandchildren, Lindsey Barnes, Cody Lingo and wife Ashley, Ricky Perkins, Dennis Barnes, John Barnes, James Barnes, Alicia Barnes, Bobby Reagan Jr., Corie Patton and husband Emery, Kelli Barnes, Randi Barnes, Jacy Barnes, Bryce Barnes, Shelby Warner, and Madelyn Warner; and seven great grandchildren, Brooklyn Lingo, Larrissa Perkins, Wesley Perkins, Dalton Barnes, Brittany Barnes, Lavone Barnes, and Ayden Barnes.
