Gracie Johnson

Gracie Florene Johnson, 57, of Belton passed away Monday, November 18 at her residence. Gracie was born on December 29, 1955 in Belton to J.W. and Ann Johnson. Gracie graduated from Belton High School and attended South West Texas State University. She worked at Kroger's, The Abstract Company, as a correctional officer at TDCJ and retired from Temple College. After retirement she enjoyed visiting with her family and playing with her nieces and nephews. Gracie is survived by her parents J.W. and Ann Johnson of Belton. 3 sisters Deborah Puckett and Husband Billy of Belton, Cindy Smith of Mansfield and Linda Andersen of Belton and 2 brothers James Johnson and wife Sofie of Hutto, and John Johnson of Huntsville. Gracie was a much loved Aunt of 22 nieces and Nephews including her namesake Lillian Gracie Foster who was her playmate and love of her life. There will be No Visitation. Services will be at Dossman Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 22, 2013. Flowers will be accepted at Dossman Funeral Home.
