Arminda Mckay

Mrs Arminda L McKay passed away at Seaton Hospital in Harker Heights on Wednesday November 20 2013 after a long illness. Graveside services will be held at 1pm Friday, November 22, 2013 at Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. She was a devoted wife and mother often caring for their 4 children during the absence of their father who was busy with military duties both abroad and state side during his 22 year military career. She was born in Wolfe City, TX on June 10 1932 to James Alton and Mabel Aline Bishop. She married Harold Glenn McKay in Savoy, TX on 31 December 1948. She was confined to her home for many years due to illness. She is survived by husband of 64 years and 11 months, Harold G McKay of Belton; son Gary McKay and wife Lori of Belton; daughters Dianne Nutt and husband Jim of New Braunfels; Glenda Hadenfeldt of Spring Branch; Sharon Albrecht and husband Richard of Pottsboro; two brothers Joe Jack Bishop and Harold Ray Bishop; grandchildren Cordy Hadenfeldt and wife Krisann; Shandy McKay and wife Live; Mindy Nutt; Judi Perry; Jennifer Nunez and husband Ruben; Lindsey Falcon and husband Danny; Courtney McKay, Aaron McKay and Taylor McKay. Great- grandchildren Kaleb Hadenfeldt, Caitlyn Hadenfeldt, Alexis Cobos, Joshua Hadenfeldt, Zachary Dow, Danielle Falcon, D'anna Falcon, Joseph Naivar, Clarissa Falcon; great-great grandchild Lilly Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents James A. Bishop and Mabel A .Bishop.
