Belton--- Funeral services for Donald L. Lancaster, 81 of Belton will be held 2PM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Billy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Roberts Cemetery in Troy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 6 to 8PM at Dossman Funeral Home. On Saturday, December 7, 2013, God gained a wonderful angel, Donald L. Lancaster. Donald was born May 21, 1932 in Temple, the son of Ewel Lancaster and Ollie (Martin) Lancaster. He married his wife, Katie (Beene) Lancaster July 27, 1957 in Bryan, Texas. He has lived in Belton since 1962 and was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He later continued work with Civil Service for 36 years until retirement. He loved Belton and was "The" Belton Tiger Fan. Donald loved sports, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He was a devoted dad, "Papa", father, grandfather and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Katie; a daughter, La Donna Marshall; a sister, Bonnie Lanelle Lancaster; brother, Harold Lancaster; and two great grandchildren, Jace Davis, and Cody Lewis. Survivors include two daughters, Tamara Maxwell of Belton, Misty Alvarado of Salado; one brother, Billy Lancaster of Valley Mills, Texas; two sisters, Sibyl Sprinkles of College Station, Peggy Williams of Monticello, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tiffany Pruitt of Belton, Brandon Marshall of Pennsylvania, Mauri Merrit of New York, Cayla Davis of Robinson, Garret Marshall of Belton and Colton Lewis also of Belton; and ten great grandchildren In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Miller Heights Baptist Church 1400 S.
