Ellaline Jones

Ellaline "Elly" Jones, 88, passed peacefully away December 9, 2013 in Temple, TX surrounded by her family. She was born on March 17, 1925 in Red Oak, Iowa to George H. and Zora L. Davis. She married Clifford D. Jones on October 5th, 1946. They moved from Minneapolis, MN to Belton, TX in January 1948. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and was active in the St. Luke's Episcopal Church Women. She was a manager of the St. Luke's "Why Not Shop" for many years. She enjoyed traveling in their motor home, cruising the high seas, and fishing in Canada, always with friends and family. She is survived by husband, Clifford D. Jones, daughters, Cathy Parker of Pflugerville, Anne Sanderford of Belton and son, Steve Jones of Belton. Her nine grandchildren are John Parker, Robert Parker, Jennifer Putnam, Jeff Jones, Michael Jones, and Alisa Leinart, Sarah Sanderford, Erin Sanderford, Brian Sanderford and five great grandchildren are Owen Jones, Grace Leinart, Drew Leinart, Gwen Leinart, and Easton Putnam. Visitation will be held at Dossman Funeral Home Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 6PM to 8PM. Memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church Belton at 2PM on December 12, 2013.
