Maxine Pruett

Funeral services for Maxine Pruett, 78, of Belton, will be held at 3PM Friday at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Minor officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation 6-8 PM Thursday at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs. Pruett died Tuesday, December 18, 2013 at her home in Belton. Mrs. Pruett was born June 1, 1935 in Austin the daughter of Albert Steve Cantwell and Lois Janicey Elizabeth King Cantwell. She married Frank Pruett September 24, 1949 in Belton. For more than 45 years Mrs. Pruett was an ordained minister at the Church of God of the First Born in Belton. More than anything she loved her family and her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Survivors include her husband Frank Pruett of Belton, three sons, Frankie Pruett, Eddie Steven Pruett and Gary Lee Pruett all of Belton, and daughter Carolyn Jolly of Belton; one brother Shird Gene Cantwell of Cedar Park and sister Shirley Dean Lewis of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
