Funeral services for Danny Coppin, 54 of Belton, will be held 11AM Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father James Misko officiating under the direction of Dossman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Danny passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at his home. He was born May 28, 1959 the son of Jimmy Charles Coppin and Doris Nell (Cox) Coppin. He was a lifelong resident of Belton and the Grove He owned and operated Coppin Signs, for 35 years. He married his wife, Tina (Richardson) Coppin, November 10, 1979 in Albion, Michigan. He was an outdoor enthusiast, lover of nature and animals and an avid fresh and saltwater angler. He was a member of the Bell County Bass Club, FLW Red Fish and the Red Fish Cup Series. Danny was a beloved husband, dedicated father and loving brother and son. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends. He enjoyed making others happy and took great joy in helping others. He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Charles Coppin. Survivors include his wife Tina two sons, Grant Wayne Coppin and Garrett Daniel Coppin; mother, Doris Nell Cox Coppin , two brothers, William Michael Coppin and Gregory Scott Coppin; two sisters, Deb Coppin and Cindy Coppin Cowan ; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
